Summer Holiday at Pitlochry Theatre


Performing six days a week, nowhere else in the UK can you experience a large resident ensemble of actors, drawn from far and wide, performing multiple roles in multiple shows – musicals, comedies and dramas. This summer season 2019, our resident band of talented musicians, will perform in the fabulous musical - Summer Holiday.

SUMMER HOLIDAY: During a wet Scottish summer, Pitlochry bus driver Don whisks his workmates away on a borrowed bus, in search of sunshine and fun in Athens!

BLITHE SPIRIT: by Noël Coward - an inventive and highly-spirited comedy.

THE CRUCIBLE: by Arthur Miller - a powerful pieces of 20th century theatre.

BLONDE BOMBSHELLS OF 1943: By Alan Plater - based on the BAFTA winning TV film starring Judi Dench.

HERITAGE: by Nicola McCartney - a poignant and poetic exploration of love and the need to belong.

NORTH AND SOUTH: by Elizabeth Gaskell, adapted by Janys Chambers - explores the complex relationship between North and South, and between women and men of different classes.
